​Our skaters are off to Plano, TX this week for the Southwestern Regionals Competition! We wish them the absolute best, and safe travels!!
We have a few very exciting things that are upcoming:

• The inaugural meeting of our Junior Board! October 16 at 6 pm at the Promenade in one of the party rooms
• The kick-off for our fall/holiday fund raiser! We will be selling wreaths for the holidays. All orders will be taken online and delivered directly to the customers in time for the holidays! Super simple!
• RMFSC Board of Directors Meeting, October 16 at 6 pm at the Promenade in the party rooms near the green rink.
• We will be presenting our high school lettering program opportunity. We have letters available to be taken to school administrators for school approval (these have been used in other school districts).
• We are looking for (thank you for considering):
  • Volunteer co-coordinator
  • Fundraising co-coordinator
  • Ice Show co-coordinator

Hello, Everyone!!
I hope everyone had a great weekend at Cup of Colorado! Unfortunately, I did not make it during the competition - I was clean-up crew. :)

Well, the RMFSC board met for its first official meeting last week - things are starting to fall into place, but we do need YOUR TIME AND TALENT! A business teaching - "Get the right people on the bus, and the rest will follow" ~Jim Collins. We have a great team - we just need a few more members!  As many of you know, the volunteer hours add up quickly when you are doing something for those you love - your kids! 

Positions that we are looking to fill quickly - 

• Hospitality Assistant - this person will work closely with Lynne Berg, who has been our fabulous hospitality coordinator for a few years. Eventually, this person may even take the lead!
• Volunteer Coordinator Assistant - Our volunteer coordinator, Angie Sutton has asked that we help find a steady assist...team efforts make everything easier!!
• Ice Show Co-Coordinators - Alex and I worked hard on last year's show - we will help you! It's a lot of fun when it all comes together!
• Social Events Chair - we have lots of ideas, but not lots of time - would someone be willing to help out with planning the fun stuff?

Just a few of the ideas...please contact me if you are interested in helping out! WE NEED YOU!!

On a sad note, we have a few coaches leaving...change is always hard, but together we will get through it even if we miss them greatly! I do know that at least one parent has reached out to Alex. We need to honor these coaches for all they have done for this club.
