Letter From the President
Hello RMFSC Members~
Last spring several new members were elected to the RMFSC Board of Directors, and during our summer meetings new officers were elected. I am Michele Kuehl, and I am very pleased to be serving as your president this year. I want to thank our former president, Malia Wildman, for her dedication and determination to keep this club active and available to our members throughout the past season. Her efforts are greatly appreciated and we are fortunate that she will continue to be a co-test chair and provide valuable consultation to our new board members.
The new Board is very excited to start to bring back some of the events and activities that had to be put on hold the last few seasons. To start, we are working on scheduling outdoor holiday exhibitions and the spring ice show. Look for information on the See’s Candy Fundraiser to help support the ice show! We also hope to host a more traditional club banquet this spring where we can truly celebrate the achievements of all of our skating members.
On that note, I would like to wish our 2022 Championship Series and 2021 Southwest Nine States competitors good luck! RMFSC will be well represented in Plano, TX and Spokane, WA in the coming weeks as some of our skaters take part in this year’s Championship Series. Good luck to each of them, and congratulations to all of the RMFSC skaters who have successfully completed their season. I can’t wait to see what you all do next!
