Mariah Bell
Mariah Bell is the 2022 U.S. national Champion, 2020 U.S. national silver medalist and two-time U.S. national bronze medalist (2017, 2019). She is also the 2020 Skate America gold medalist, 2016 Skate America silver medalist, the 2019 Internationaux de France bronze medalist, the 2019 Rostelecom Cup bronze medalist, the 2019 CS Nebelhorn Trophy champion, and the 2016 CS U.S. International Classic silver medalist. She has finished within the top ten at four ISU Championships. Mariah's ISU Biography Mariah's Team USA Biography Mariah began skating at the age of four because of her sister. Early in her career, she was coached by Megan Faulkner, Billy Schneider, and Candy Brown. At age 12, she joined Cindy Sullivan in Westminster, Colorado. At the 2012 U.S. Championships, Mariah finished fifth in the junior division. She was assigned to the 2012 Gardena Spring Trophy and won the junior silver medal. Mariah won the silver medal in the junior division of the 2013 U.S. Championships, behind Polina Edmunds. In the 2013–14 season she made her ISU Junior Grand Prix debut, winning a bronze medal in Mexico and finishing seventh in Poland. At the 2014 U.S. Championships, Mariah finished thirteenth. Soon after her high school graduation in 2014, she moved to Monument, Colorado, so that she could train under Kori Ade. Mariah changed coaches in August 2016, joining Rafael Arutyunyan in Lakewood, California. That year she took silver at the 2016 CS U.S. International Classic, and 3rd at the 2016 CS Ondrej Nepela Memorial. She was invited to the 2016 Skate America to replace the injured Angela Wang and won the silver medal behind Ashley Wagner. In January 2017, Mariah won the bronze medal at the U.S. Championships, earning her a spot on the Four Continents and World teams. In February, she placed sixth at the 2017 Four Continents Championships in Gangneung, South Korea. She later placed twelfth at her first trip to the 2017 World Championships in Helsinki, Finland. At the 2019 U.S. Championships Mariah again won the bronze medal, and concluded her season with a team gold medal at the 2019 World Team Trophy. In the 2020 U.S. Championships Mariah won silver and would have competed at the 2020 World Championships in Montreal but the event was cancelled due to the coronovirus pandamic. The following season had her off the ice for several months due to the pandemic although she competed in several virtual events and took gold at 2020 Skate America. In the 2021 U.S. Championships she placed 5th overall. Mariah was assigned to two Grand Prix events for the 2021-22 season, at the Internationaux de France she placed 5th and at the Rostelecom Cup she came in 4th. |
![]() Blake Eisenach
Blake Eisenach and his partner Megan Wessenberg came in 4th at the Junior 2022 National Championship. Blake also placed 5th at the 2019 Junior Nationals (with Grace Knoop). Blake started skating with the Rochester Figure Skating Club in Rochester, MN at 4 years old and performed in his first ice show in 2006. After his performance he was hooked and over the years competed in local/state and Midwestern Sectional competitions. In June 2014 his family moved back to their home state of Colorado where Blake joined RMFSC and trained with Cindy Sullivan. Soon after joining RMFSC, George Selimos and Robyn Sudkamp approached Blake about pair skating with Eliana Secunda. Blake and Eliana started skating together in August 2014, and in November 2014 they skated in their first pairs competition, Midwestern Sectionals, where they placed first in Juvenile Pairs, (advancing them to 2015 Nationals in Greensboro, NC). Since that first competition they consistently advanced to a new level every year. In 2015, they were the gold medalists in Intermediate Pairs at Midwestern Sectionals and achieved a silver medal finish at the 2016 US National Championship in St. Paul, MN. In 2016 they moved up to Novice Pairs, placing 4th at US National Championships in Kansas City. In 2017 they moved up to Junior Pairs, placing 3rd at Midwestern Sectionals and 10th at Nationals in San Jose, California. After graduating from Legacy high school in May of 2018 Blake moved to Florida in June to continue his passion in Pair Figure Skating. Blake and his new partner, Grace Knoop, placed 5th overall in Junior Pairs at Nationals in Detroit, just seven months after training at the Ellenton Florida ice rink with new coaching staff, Mr. Jim Peterson and Ms. Amanda Evora. After 2019 Nationals, Blake and Grace qualified for Team USA, and they competed at the 2019 Bavarian Open in Oberstdorf, Germany February 5-10, 2019. They placed 5th out of 13 pair teams from all over the world and received their highest scores awarding them the 2nd Alternate team to Junior Worlds in Zagreb, Croatia! |
